I am downtown at the MD Anderson Cancer blood bank donating platelets. The people here shared some amazing stories about the work they do here and the benefits of donating plasma, white blood cells, platelets, and whole blood. The platelets they extract tonight will be used on a cancer patient tomorrow....amazing.
